Interview with Cristiano Borsa - 03rd May 2007

IDP: Hello Cristiano! For those who don't know you, can you tell us about yourself, please?

Cristiano Borsa: I'm an italian DJ/Producer and i make Italodance music. If you want to know more infos about me and my work please have a look at my website http://www.cristianoborsa.it!

IDP: What music styles are you listening to other than what you produce?

Cristiano Borsa: I love Italodance and so i listen always this music, no matter if it's old and new.

IDP: Who is/are your favorite artist(s)?

Cristiano Borsa: I have not a particular favorite artist , but i do have a favorite style: very melodic, near 1980 style.

IDP: What do you think about the future of Italo Dance music?

Cristiano Borsa: I hope that Italodance keeps alive. At this moment i see that radio and tv stations just want original music but no good music.

IDP: What do you like to do on your spare time?

Cristiano Borsa: Nothing to particular, i'm a normal person ...hehe..., I have no particular hobby!

IDP: What are your plans for the future?

Cristiano Borsa: I will keep producing italo-dance music, for all my life. I also produce house but without many passion ...I don't like house very much.

IDP: What news can you reveal for us about your future productions?

Cristiano Borsa: I will make some new songs and i also will remix some songs from the compilation "Eurodance x ever", because the songs on this compilation are mostly "Old Style" and i want to make them "New Style" too.

IDP: Your compliation "Eurodance X Ever" can be can be considered as success, are you thinking of a follow-up compilation?

Cristiano Borsa: This compilation was not a big hit for radio and television but i know it is a big hit in the heart of many people in europe. One song from the compilation, "Iklip-Turning for you", has a real good success, especially in Austria. Can't say yet if there will be another volume.

IDP: What do you think about our site (italodanceportal.com)?

Cristiano Borsa: Your site is an important forum in Europe to know many things about italo-dance music!

Cristiano Borsa: I see that many people listen to the music with heart and not change it because of radio and tv stations playing other music. At these people I say thanks with my heart...
