One Summer in Altromondo

Hey guys !

I thought it was a cool idea to share a bit my experience working inthis famous club, especially since i'm having this job thanks to you (without you id be lost in italo music, and not knowing anyone....)

So, sorry I might get people jealous.

I arrived in Turin on 4st of july, went by Dance N Love the label of Gabry Ponte, where i met my 'boss' for the summer, Roberto, manager of Impatto Visivo. My society 'Inkaptable' and his, made a deal to work together this summer.
So we passed by dance n love, grabbing some stuff (no gabry ponte, he was working away).

After a 5hours drive me arrived in Rimini, front of Altromondo, met the manager, and well, the AMS is really fucking big.

We were a team of photographer, light engineer, foam enginer and stuff like this, all sleeping in a residence 10min away from altromondo, 5min away from the beach.

Anyway first night was a Foam Party, literally huge, check out the video on youtube on the channel AltromondoOfficial, i Think I managed to show how big it was. I Met Luca Belloni, the resident dj, also one of the producers of MASH, and also Christian Cattaneo, resident dj and one of the proect Da Brozz, and the speaker for that night was Manuel Negrin. pretty cool night Laughing out loud
Funny thing is that when the foam starts, they change music, and switch it to italo for 30min, so its basically italo every 3days Laughing out loud

On Sunday were Djs From Mars playing + foam party, so it was a crazy mess and club was always fucking full.
DJ Maxwell came to watch the show the first time.

Every Tuesday was Dance Generation, was cool to hang out with papsnskar, prezioso&marvin, datura, dj lhasa, and a lot of others!

You know, it would have been paradise for some of you. For example one night my friend/boss/co-worker told me 'hey Gabry is in town, let go see him' so we went say hi, blablab" well like normal people actually.
Its cool to meet the artist outside of a concert, you can see that in the end they're like u and me..

At the last dance generation, Maury from E65 came just to say hi.

Anyway, we ended up this season with a great staff party, with poool, lot of alcohol girls etc..;
The staff of Altromondo is really epic, and if u ever go there, you'll be astonished by the power of the sound system...

Really nice report Luc, thanks so much!
And thanks for the warning in the beginning - I am jealous Laughing out loud

Seriously they got a foam engineer!? Tongue
I can only imagine how big Altromondo is, it looks amazing in pictures, nice to hear they still play a bit of italo.
Did you get your Italian skills well dusted off?

WROOOOOONG!!! ...they made rox italo tracks Wink that's the difference Smile

anyway, hope you had a great experience Smile

Maybe someday we can get ourselves together, and then go (as we have thought of the last two years)
Eventhough, I'm not sure I want to meet Luca Belloni after what he said :tard:

Hahaha mcW Belloni was kidding Smile

Also, the funny thing is that Rimini - Riccione is really club capital of italy, so in the end you're not surprise of seeing fucking HUGE posters fo Eiffel65 or Gigi d'Ag, when you walk in the streets some cars passing by are playing italo at fucking loud.

Even if italo is considered cheesy and everything, people did not forget that the club scene wetn famous thanks to italo.
So everybody listen the classics here, and they still like it.

But hey if u start talking about unknow tracks and shit, you'll be looking like a freak.. But anyway it's really cool.

Best part for me are the moment with the team, and last night when I left they put on the giant screens "thanks to luc trombin - inkaptable / from all altromondo staff. Really awesome, It's really more than a dream come true. They want me next year so, I hope to be there once again.

CFE> foam engineer..i mean..not really but Roby, my "boss" the guy who own Impatto Visivo (making videos for dance n love), has lots of CO2 canons, foam machine etc..so he's working a lot in altromondo on the summer.
