Music and You nowadays

So, we're halfway in 2016, and i was wondering; what kind of music do people on here listen to these days ?

Still listening to italo, as before, and got the same passion ? Or are you into/"discovered" different kind of music ?

Regarding myself, i listen to a lot of hardstyle, as from Hardstyle.com there are new releases coming out all the time. But i always find time to look for italo pieces to add to my collection, and i still prefer listening italo as it is still my biggest passion.

I still mainly listen to italo/lento - I only listen other styles when I'm in in the car or at work ...there is something unique about italo Smile

I more or less only listen to Italo Sound Radio Laughing out loud

Sometimes classical music in the morning, when it's too early for a heavy bass Tongue

I really miss the golden years of Italodance with big artists like DJ Ross, Danijay, HSG, Brothers etc. and also the smaller artists like Daddi J, DJ Blizzard, Trilogy, Markus and so on and so on. New Italodance stopped for me after Hoxygen/The arcane charmers. I just couldn't find good new songs.

These days I'm still listening to Italodance (<3 forever), but also hardstyle and handsup.

I agree that you have to dig deep to find the good new stuff, the main problem is probably that a lot of it doesn't get released. Take for instance radio emotions that have an amazing radioshow with DJ Maxwell, Mr. Dendo, Magna Romagna and DJ Dallas, they have so many good track but nothing gets released :/

A lot is put up on soundcloud though, but you have to know where to look Smile

Well, I'm not working in the music industry so i've discovered a lot of genre and it helped renew my passion for music.
I'm lucky enough to live from it, but for that you really have to love it's essence I would say.

I'm really really into pop music, and the craft of making it (probably the hardest music to produce)... I listen to some hardstyle as well (attended Qlimax last year...most insane show ever).

Some EDM even though i'm quite bored of it, but it's my main source of income so I hear it quite frequently... A lot of Cheesy retro 80s sounding artists like Starcadian, Tom Cruise, Mitch Murder, that kind of shit.

And as i'm travelling the world, I always have my hard drive with me which has my entire italo collection, which I listen to quite often...lately i've been listening to a lot of lento, and still buying italo records when i've got some money to spend Smile
