By the way there's not even catalog number & label for this one...
If this tracklist - link here - is real, then it is clearly the "The Essential Gigi D'Agostino" (2009) from ZYX with just a new cover, the tracklist is 99% the same (except that Pioggia e Sole is missing from the end of CD1 in case of this "new release").

Anyway i wonder what could be the magazine's content... ? O.o Some interviews with Gigi from the '90s? The list of the announced but still unreleased discs... ? I would buy the magazine in itself on a cheaper price if it's worth it.

This is a the Essential Gigi D'Agostino published by Saifam Group set to be released on Nov. 13th! There's no artwork or tracklist but why publish 2 times the same cd with the same artwork? Hopefully will have a different artwork and hopefully more stuff

Wouldn't it be a case of false advertising / misleading customers then... ? (what about the users who preordered the product just because of the new tracks... ?)

Now we can choose who to believe in: "Jesus" (ZYX in this case), or Gigi. :D In the current circumstances, i think the most possible scenario is that ZYX will just release the "Xmas Best Of" compilation (which you can find on ibs.it), which is the same as the already released "The Essential Gigi D'Agostino" one... that's all...

As I said before ZYX have copyrights for Gigi material outside Italy, so if they feel like releasing a best of album they can do that, without asking Gigi first. It was the same with the Essential Gigi best of, Gigi hadn't even heard of that release when it got out.

Eventually the Xmas Essential is real with old tracks, I purchased it and inside the xmas cover there is the essential old album cd... nothing new, Amazon continues to say any item sold by Amazon is 100% genuine so I guess the Best of is real

Actually IDP and some of our partners have investigated this question in the past, and what you say is actually not true, if you are willing to pay Gigi will gladly license his unreleased tracks for release.
... the price is steep though

Yeah it's really mysterious, we'll see in the following days / weeks!
I would be happier with a brand new EP / compilation with just the new tracks from this release - in extended, unmixed format - but at least finally it's a release, and possibly even with some new tracks on it...
