Roberto "RSDJ" Santini


Roberto or Roby as he is called among friends was born on the 18th of June in the southern city of Italy, with the name Abruzzo.

His passion for music goes way back to the age of 5, when he started playing with his old orange record player and a keyboard.

At the age of 13 he writes his first song, but he keeps his interest for music equipment alive.

In 1992 he competes in a TV Game, where he wins!!! with the money he recieved in price, he moves to Milan where he begins djing all over Northern Italy, and where he meets the producers he want to work with.

Two years later, he goes to a recording studio and it results in the song “Run-Away” the first song of the much popular group The Soundlovers. It gets released all over europe, and reaches the Top 10 on charts in Germany, The Netherlands and high placements in Spain and Eastern Europe via the label Polydor.

He repeats the success of The Soundlovers through the years with: "People" (1997) – "Surrender" (1998) – "Walking" ( 1999) – "Living In Your Head" (2001). In the meantime he is resident DJ at Zip Club in Milan, where he meets a Drag Queen, later known as the dance music star: Billy More. Roby, writes and produces for her and the first single is "UP & DOWN", with which he reaches the European market. Along with this he’s he is also touring his “DJ & Singer Liveset” all over Italy.

Other projects to notice are Souvenir D'Italie and the fashion dedicated song “Boys & Girls”, RSDJ (RobySantiniDJ) and the popular Pop-Dance project HSG aka Hotel Saint George.

After this Roby Santini continues to write and produce new songs, works as a freelance DJ, voiceovers for spots, radio jingles and background vocals.

Together with Simone Vitullo, he owns the house music label Go Deeva Records
