Interview with Ivan Tanz

When and why did you begin to produce music?
Basically, as a child i listened to a lot of italodance, i was struck by this melodious and electronic sound of this genre, then in 2011 i met the great "DJ Art@k", a great friend of mine who passed away a few Years ago, from this acquaintance everything was born through social media, the use of the sequencer, the productions and everythings…
Than i stopped in 2015, i decided to come back, thanks to push of my former colleagues and my friends, ready to give even more than i did at the time.

Who is/are your favorite artist(s)?
In italodance Style: Dami Tanz, Glaukor, Andrea Decibel, DJ Hunter, Magna Romagna, Gabry Ponte, Markus, DJ Jpedroza, Motel Synth George.
In Hardcore Uptempo Music: F.Noize, Sjammienators, Partyraiser, Brutalcore, Spitnoise.

What do you think is the future for Italo Dance music?
Of course, true italodance will never be able to return the way it was then, but there can be innovation, that's what i think. However, there are many good producers who are as dedicated to their work as I am. Passion is Always passion and that's how it should be first and foremost.

What do you like to do in your spare time?
Between one song and another, i go out with my friends, i study new things Always in the musical field, because since 2017 i also deal with hardcore music, distorted kick and aggressive vocals, i passionately frequent environments and various parties focused on that style.

What are your plans for the future? style, project etc.
I would like to vary a lot, do italodance, slowstyle and a lot of uptempo hardcore and frenchcore.
I have many influences on these genres, obviously under different aliases, but let's clarify one thing… It's all a work in progress.

What news can you reveal for us about your future productions?
I intend to make many official remixes, many release, many free download works, above all to do my best.
